No matter what level they are in an organization, people tend to tell me that:<BR/><BR/>1) Strategy is what they do.<BR/>2) Tactics are what the people below them in the organization do.<BR/>3) They're not sure what the people above them in the organization do.<BR/><BR/>In other words, it is all relative. What may be strategy for you is what someone above you would call tactics. It all depends on the scope of what you are responsible for.<BR/><BR/>In general, strategy is the chosen path for achieving your particular goal for your level of responsibility.
